TRAINING DIDACTICS
At CEFARQ we are concerned to teach our Goalkeepers in the most enriching possible manner, adapting knowledge to their needs, and considering the characteristics of each Goalkeeper.
Didactic is the part of pedagogy that focuses on the objectives, contents, methods and practical teaching systems, in order to transmit knowledge in the most appropriate way. Its object of study is the teaching-learning processes. In training, the Trainer is who “teaches” and the Goalkeeper who “learns”.
Through didactics we select mechanisms to transmit knowledge in the different aspects in which a sport can be carried out.
In teaching we must consider that each Goalkeeper is an individual shaped by different socio-cultural contexts, and that the way he/she perceives and interprets knowledge varies. Therefore, the Goalkeeper trainer must know different methods for the transmission of information, handling different tools to carry them out.
Considering that each Goalkeeper is an individual, we understand that the transmission of information can be carried out through three channels:
Ear channel:
• Describing with words a pattern of movement.
• Explaining the reasons for a movement, indication or correction.
Kinesthetic-tactile channel:
• Processing information by associating it with body sensations and movements.
• Making corrections through contact with archers.
Visual channel:
• Making a demonstration by the Trainer.
• Making a demonstration by a partner.
• Providing a vision of the Goalkeeper or other Goalkeepers through videos.
For the information to be transmitted through these channels, the Trainer must handle the complexity of the knowledge in accordance to the maturation stage of the Goalkeeper, so that he/she can receive process and use the information in the resolution of situations that arise during the training session or a game.
