The modern goalkeeper, in addition to stop shots, has to learn to play with the positions, read the moves before anyone else and, above all, know that he will make mistakes. Once you learned that, consider yourself very good.

Center
The Centro de Entrenamiento Formativo para Arqueros (CEFARQ) was inaugurated on May 8, 2010 by former professional goalkeeper Leandro Horacio Cortizo, who developed most of his career in Europe. It is the first training center in the city of La Plata exclusively for goalkeepers. It offers the possibility to any goalkeeper, amateur or professional and any age, to develop a specific training and technical training for the role of Goalkeeper.
Over the years, CEFARQ has become one of the most important specific Training Centers in Argentina and is an important reference for many professionals.
It is open for every goalkeeper, of any club or condition, who wishes to be trained, perfected and prepared in his position. Training is based on replicating real-game situations and mastering specific techniques to optimize performance, enhance development opportunities, and achieve greater results, efficiency, and effectiveness.
A group of top-level professionals composed of Goalkeeper trainers, physical trainers, specialists on biomechanics, psychologists and doctors, analyze each goalkeeper in a personalized way and program the training groups according to ages and motor maturation.
In CEFARQ we perform adequate technical and physical training sessions one or two times a week, depending on the age and the needs of the goalkeeper. Training is oriented to the development of all the skills that the goalkeeper requires in a position that has a vital importance in soccer.
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Leandro Cortizo created CEFARQ as a methodological technical school that provides the Goalkeeper all the tools needed to solve all the game situations in which may be involved. CEFARQ seeks to train and improve Goalkeepers, so that in their development they build up efficiency in their movements and enhance their natural abilities, which translates into better performance and effectiveness.
“When I was still active as a professional goalkeeper, I had many concerns and questions. I tried to understand the rationale behind each movement, each gesture and each posture. I thought that the details made a difference, and I saw them daily. At the end of my career, I already had the illusion of creating a “school” where goalkeepers could train and improve themselves with technical contents that allow them to make a difference through the details. Every inch, every millimeter, is too important and worth a Goal or a Great Catch. ”
Leandro H. Cortizo (Founder-Director CEFARQ)

We must never forget that they are “Children playing to be Goalkeepers”
