Visual and cognitive skills training.

Speaking about innovation, at Cefarq we always try to stay “up to date” to train our Goal Keepers as elite professionals.

One of our latest acquisitions is a system of programmable lights. This is a technology aimed at improving physical performance through actions in response to visual stimulation.

This training system serves primarily to improve physical and cognitive skills through exercises in which the required movements respond to lights that turn on and off according to a pre-established pattern. Measurable, predefined or specifically generated training routines can be applied individually or on groups. The possibility of controlling variable allows modifying reaction time, speed and performance in real time. Finally, the program provides objective evaluations according to the established criteria.

As an example, a basic exercise to train peripheral vision consists in touching defined lights that comes on outside the central focus. With a simple “game” like this, the Goal Keeper trains very important abilities. If besides the Goal Keeper
